History
Around April 1998, a WNBA announced it would add 2 expansion teams (Minnesota & the Orlando Miracle), for the 1999 season. A Lynx began their initiative year inside 1999 with 12,000 fans in attendance to observe a foremost regular-year game, against a Detroit Shock at Target Center.
